Botanical Garden - It seems like everyone in Changsha has gathered here! With flowers in full bloom, 100,000 visitors have come to enjoy. Under the warm spring sun, cherry blossoms and tulips take turns staging a grand performance of colors and life in their most beautiful forms. Changsha's Perfect Photo Spot - Navigate to Xiangjiang Riverfront Park to find this stunning photo location with amazing city views of Changsha. Youth Square - If you missed Orange Isle, come here instead. You can review Chairman Mao's famous poem while taking perfect photos. Hunan Provincial Museum - As a must-visit spot in every provincial capital, it's truly impressive and offers unique cultural creative products. Chaozong Street - Perfect for taking photos📸, very chill atmosphere. Wuyi Square - This iconic spot needs no introduction. Take photos with landmark mascots, check out the "I Love Changsha" big screen, the "Changsha" photo wall on the escalator, the golden building, and the street food alley near Changjun Middle School. Du Fu River Pavilion - Visit before 6 PM for the lighting ceremony, and take a walk along the river to enjoy Xiangjiang's night views. Dongmao Street Teahouse - A recently trending local teahouse popular among old-timers, with super affordable prices. Full of friendly elderly locals, you can play cards, drink tea, enjoy snacks, Changsha rice noodles, green onion pancakes, and sweet rice cakes. Worth spending half a day here. Accommodation - Heeding advice, we avoided Wuyi Square and chose Changsha Pujing Hotel (Wanjiali International Gaojiao North Subway Station). You can also check out Wanjiali's aircraft parking area nearby. We chose this hotel purely for its elegant name. Great value for money at just over 200 yuan, perfect for budget travelers. Only 80m from the subway station, though the entrance is hidden. The front desk offers cola and ginger tea to ward off the cold. The rooms are small but beautiful with a courtyard style, very zen and immersive. Though the restaurant is small, their stir-fried pork with chili is delicious. Daily different afternoon tea includes homemade sweet wine tangyuan and Black Forest cake. The freshness is evident in the food, and thoughtful touches like the cleaned and dried clothes bags on door handles add unique memories to the journey.
