Begin your route through Lushan Road, admire the timeless “Nanyue Grand Temple” inscription above the gate, and soak in the leafy atmosphere. Stroll under the green canopies and let yourself wander the classical courtyards, imagining generations of scholars debating right where you stand. Must-do: peek into lecture halls and stone tablets engraved with Confucian wisdom. Pause for a moment at the serene reflection ponds—these are perfect for peaceful photos or capturing the sun-dappled traditional roofs (definitely an insta-worthy angle with Chinese architecture in the backdrop!). My tip: arrive early to avoid tour crowds and fully appreciate the tranquil grounds. The best light for photos is mid-morning on sunny days—those iconic building close-ups surrounded by nature really pop!
