Pushing open the lofty lobby doors, floor-to-ceiling windows frame the city like a painting: TV Tower 339 and Chengdu Tower 468 loom close, while bustling Tianfu Square unfolds beneath. Orange dominates—playful yet chic. Sichuan opera masks, panda scholars, local motifs pop up everywhere. The lobby’s pièce de résistance? A plush doll "slouching" lazily in the lounge— I couldn’t resist snuggling up for a photo, feeling instantly at home. Rooms amplify the sky-high views, but the design details steal the show: a mahjong-inspired square table, clothing racks mimicking aged brick walls, even the bathtub whispers Sichuan’s ancient charm. Of course, I hooked up the JBL speakers— bass so deep it rattled the windows. Humming along to the glittering nightscape, pure travel bliss. Dinner at Yurong Restaurant was a revelation. The Western set menu for two? Chef’s kiss—steak cooked to perfection. As the skyline outside melted into indigo, my wine glass mirrored the city’s pulse. Tipsy and content, Chengdu’s night embraced me softly. The location? Unbeatable. Cross the street to Chengdu Museum, or stroll to Kuanzhai Alley and People’s Park. Regret?
