After a humble ¥20 lunch in a quiet corner of Wen Shu Fang, I wandered into Wenshu Monastery expecting a brief stop, maybe a few photos. What I found instead was a world completely removed from the rush of modern Chengdu. The moment I stepped through the gates, the air changed. Cooler, quieter, somehow softer.
