Known as the “Black House,” it’s a striking collection of dark, unconventional buildings created by Thai artist Thawan Duchanee. The entrance fee was affordable, and I spent hours wandering through the eerie yet fascinating wooden structures filled with animal bones, skulls, and unique artwork. The atmosphere was mysterious, blending art, culture, and philosophy. I brought along my own snacks and water to save money and used local transport to reach the museum. It was an eye-opening and artistic experience, perfect for budget travelers. Baan Dam offered an unforgettable glimpse into the darker side of Thai art without breaking the bank.
