Chongqing Hongyadong

Chongqing In the Paleolithic Age 2 million years ago, the earliest human beings, Wushan people, appeared in Wushan County. In the Xia and Shang dynasties, it was the land of Baipu. The Three Gorges area was the main rock salt production area. In the Shang and Zhou dynasties, Wushan gave birth to the Ba State civilization. Chongqing is a mountain city and a river city. It is a national historical and cultural city and the birthplace of Bayu culture. It is located in the transition zone between the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River. It has Daba Mountain on its back, Wushan Mountain in the east, and Wuling Mountain in the southeast. The main rivers are the Yangtze River, Jialing River, Wujiang River, and Fu River. It is known as the Night Rain in Bashan and the Fog City. The stilt houses are typical representatives of Chongqing's traditional residential buildings. They are mostly built on the hills and rivers, in the shape of a tiger sitting, and are semi-stilt buildings. The main feature is that the main house is built on the ground, and the wing rooms are connected to the main house on one side, while the other three sides are suspended in the air and supported by pillars. The stilt houses preserved in Chongqing's central urban area were mostly built after the 1930s and 1940s, and Hongyadong is its main representative. I have been to Chongqing many times before and visited the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River, Ciqikou, etc. I remember that year I walked from Chaotianmen Wharf to Jiefangbei Square. This time I came to Chongqing again, the changes are too great, the topography has undergone earth-shaking changes. I stayed at the Ritz-Carlton, Hyatt Regency Hotel, which is in an excellent location. It is located at the intersection of the Yangtze River and Jialing River. It is located in the tallest landmark building in Yuzhong District, the Shanghai World Financial Center, and is adjacent to Jiefangbei. It takes only ten minutes to walk to Hongyadong. The river view and night view are both very stunning. This time I mainly visited the Hongyadong Folk Customs Area, took the subway and light rail, and visited the Liziba Light Rail Through-Building Observation Deck. I also went to Guanyinqiao Pedestrian Street to experience the vividness of Chongqing. I visited the Three Gorges Museum, which is also the Chongqing Museum. Good time I will definitely come to Chongqing again if I have the chance.
