Chongqing- the definition of a sprawling city is a great spot to spend a weekend. whether it’s the good food, the ancient temples or just the utter chaos that is walking around the city - it’s a great city break. the taxi rank is by the airport, the other 2 spots are at arhat temple in the middle of the city - 10/10 recommend. oh, don’t take the cable car, it’s a long wait and for something that you don’t need to be on it to see - in fact the view from the bridge itself, or the subway line that runs across it is just as good without the wait or the over expensive ticket price. #scenicspotguide#awesomepic#deliciousfood #instagrammable #chongqing #china

( 20 yuan one way , 30 yuan round trip ) ✅Chaotianmen Pier 2. Historical & Cultural Spots 🏯 Ciqikou Ancient Town– Old streets, tea houses & souvenirs. 🗿Dazu Rock Carvings ( UNESCO site, 2h from downtown) – Buddhist sculptures. 🏛 Three Gorges Museum– Learn about Chongqing’s history. 3. Scenic & Nature Spots 🌿 Eling Park – Quiet hilltop park with city views. 🌉 Liziba Station – See the monorail pass through a building (photogenic). 🌳 **Wulong Karst (day trip)** – Avatar-like mountains & natural bridges. 4. Unique Chongqing Experiences 🚇 Light Rail Line 2 – Ride through mountains & over rivers. 🌃 Nanshan Tree Viewing Deck– Best panoramic night view. 🚢 Yangtze River Cruise ( optional overnight trip) – Stunning gorges. Tip:Use the metro (fast & cheap) or Didi (ride-hailing) to avoid traffic. I traveled from ningbo to Chongqing and back . You can cover zhangjiajie from Chongqing as its very close . And must see . Hotel stay in jiefangbei , its cheaper.
