Edge of the World Feels at Portal do Inferno e Garra

#summervacay Portal do Inferno e Garra has a name that sounds intense, and honestly, it kinda lives up to it in the best way. We drove up through winding mountain roads in the middle of nowhere and suddenly hit this wild, jaw dropping ridge with views that go forever. Total edge of the world vibes. It’s high, remote, and super quiet, just you, the wind, and a whole lotta dramatic scenery. The cliffs drop off on both sides, and there’s this narrow, sketchy looking road that runs right along the ridge (don’t worry, it’s totally driveable if you go slow). It’s a little spooky but also super fun. There’s not a lot of infrastructure, no cafés or signs, really, just raw, untouched nature and insane views. Bring water, snacks, and a fully charged phone for pics. And maybe a jacket, ‘cause it gets windy up there! If you’re into off the beaten path places with serious “whoa” energy, Portal do Inferno e Garra is 100% worth the adventure.
