Midday: Culture & Local Vibes Visit the Yunnan University campus nearby, famous for its beautiful historic architecture. Explore the Nanping Pedestrian Street, just a short walk away, to try local snacks like rose cakes (玫瑰饼) and crossing-the-bridge noodles (过桥米线). If visiting in winter, watch the famous Siberian red-beaked seagulls flocking to the lake—a truly unique sight! Afternoon: A Relaxing End Rent a small boat and paddle around the lake for a tranquil experience. Stroll to Xishuimen (西水门), a quieter area with hidden tea houses where you can relax and unwind.
