Our 11-day experience in Peru, part of Newmarket Holidays’ South American Explorer, was truly exceptional. Our guide, Willington Calderon, accompanied us throughout the journey, introducing us to Peru’s remarkable people, landscapes, cultures, history, food, and drink. He was consistently kind and ensured everyone in our group was well taken care of, organizing each day seamlessly. We were equally impressed by the local guides, including Mijail in Cusco and the Sacred Valley sites, as well as Mirna in the Arequipa area. Their passion and immense knowledge deepened our appreciation of the country. Even the weather astonished us—spectacular every single day!
