Our initial plan was to take an Abra (water taxi) from Bur Dubai Marine Transport Station (CR1 line) to Deira Old Souk Marine Transport Station, then return on the CR5 line to the Al Fahidi Historical Neighborhood (Bastakiya). However, with the CR5 operating every 20-30 minutes, we worried about long queues affecting our tight schedule, so we skipped the water taxi this time. Instead, we spent our time strolling through the Old Town, soaking in its atmosphere and snapping photos. Even the popular photo spots were quite crowded. We grabbed some quick snacks, which were generally on the sweeter side. I found the Arabic coffee to have a peculiar taste, but the Turkish coffee was more palatable.
