A Glimpse of the Xiao Qing-Gan Loop

Not going to say much, just purely sharing the beautiful scenery from the trip. If you're interested in any place, feel free to leave a comment and ask. My itinerary was: Lanzhou + Dunhuang + Zhangye + Xining + Qinghai Lake Cliff + Chaka Town + Erlangjian + Xining. A total of 8 days and 7 nights, round-trip by plane, with a flexible combination of self-driving and train travel along the way. This Hexi Corridor + Qinghai Lake loop, I call it Xiao Qing-Gan. The trip was truly amazing. I checked in at many landforms: desert, Gobi, salt lake, plateau lake, plateau, grassland, colorful Danxia... The culture was also fantastic. Just Dunhuang and the Mogao Caves alone were so rich in content that, having experienced the college entrance exam, I felt as if I was struck again by the magnificent, grand, and colorful Hexi culture. There are so many fascinating and likable things, it’s honestly exhausting to take it all in.
