Gushan Scenic Area, Fuzhou November 5, 2024, afternoon. It is about 150–160 km from Xiapu to Gushan Scenic Area, Fuzhou, which takes a little over 2 hours by car. There are not many people in Gushan Scenic Area on non-holidays, and cars can drive directly to the parking lot of Yongquan Temple. After a short break, we found a tour guide to accompany us to visit Yongquan Temple for more than an hour, and we learned a lot. The low-key Yongquan Temple is actually the top temple in Fujian, and it preserves the blood scriptures of eminent monks of all dynasties, the well-preserved Song Dynasty ceramic pagoda, more than 10,000 wooden scripture printing plates, the Song Dynasty iron and wood table, the Song Dynasty iron pot for feeding hundreds of people, and the iron tree planted by the King of Min, etc. It is truly a treasure-level temple. There are also cliff carvings in the scenic area, and the number of them is beyond imagination. After two or three hours of sightseeing, we still wanted more.
