🔶🔶🔶Instead of heading to a cold place this winter, why not head to 25°C Sri Lanka for a beach holiday? On my trip, I stumbled upon an amazing seaside resort - Induruwa. It's a relatively niche destination with fine sand, clear blue waters, gentle sea breezes, and hot but not scorching sunshine. It's perfect for those who want to escape the crowds and enjoy a relaxing beach holiday! 🎏Attractions: 🏖️Bentota Beach: A beach near Induruwa that stretches for several kilometers and is famous for water sports such as jet skiing, windsurfing, and boating. 🛶Bentota Mangroves: Take a boat tour of the mangroves on the Madu River and get up close to the unique mangrove ecosystem. You can also visit a local spice workshop on the island. 🐢Turtle Conservation Center: A famous turtle conservation project where you can learn about turtle conservation and witness the release of turtles back into the sea. 🌊Water activities 🏄🏻‍♀️Surfing: Rent a surfboard on the beach or take a professional surfing lesson to experience the fun of surfing. 🎣Deep-sea fishing: Follow the local fishermen out to sea and experience the thrill and fun of deep-sea fishing. 🚍Transportation: 🚞Train: You can take a train from Colombo to Induruwa. The coastal railway line connects Colombo with the towns on the southern coast, offering beautiful views of the coastline along the way. 🚘Taxi: I took a taxi directly from Galle, which was cheap and convenient.
