Okinawa Prince Hotel Ocean View Ginowan: A New Hotel in Ginowan for Your Okinawa Stay

For the second night of my 3-night, 4-day trip to Okinawa, I stayed at the newly opened Okinawa Prince Hotel Ocean View Ginowan, the first Prince Hotel in Okinawa. Having stayed at over ten Prince Hotels across Japan, from the high-end Grand Prince to the resort in Shin-Furano, I am quite familiar with this hotel chain. Known for its luxurious breakfast, spacious rooms, and excellent service, I chose this hotel as soon as I booked my flight to Okinawa. I reserved a deluxe room with breakfast included back in early November for a low off-season rate of around 100,000 KRW. However, prices seem to have risen slightly since then. One of the hotel's biggest attractions is that guests can enjoy unlimited access to facilities like the swimming pool, infinity pool, sauna, large public bath, and gym without any additional charges. The hotel has 14 floors, with the 12th to 14th floors designated as club floors that include lounge benefits. My room, number 1020, was located on the 10th floor. While the hotel is situated near a highway, which means some noise from passing vehicles, all rooms come with balconies and offer ocean views. The sight of hundreds of yachts docked nearby adds an exotic touch to the scenery. Conveniently, a Round1 entertainment complex is just a 3-minute walk from the hotel, where you can enjoy games, claw machines, and gacha machines. There are also restaurants nearby, where I had yakiniku for dinner, and a Tokyu Hands supermarket in the adjacent building. The next morning, I started my day with breakfast at 7 AM. True to the Prince Hotel's reputation, the breakfast was lavish with an Okinawan twist. They even grilled steak and made high-quality omelets on the spot. The variety and taste were excellent, making it a fantastic breakfast experience. After breakfast, I checked out the infinity pool. Though small, it offers an incredible sense of openness. Being a heated pool, it was popular even in winter. I then visited the large public bath, which, while also small, offers a clear view of the outside. Interestingly, you can even wave to people in the infinity pool from the public bath. Most of the guests were Japanese, and the atmosphere was relaxed and unbothered. The sauna, however, is not connected to the public bath but to the fitness area, requiring workout attire for access. The hotel does not provide rental clothing, so you need to bring your own. As the morning brightened and the weather cleared, the yachts along the beach sparkled beautifully. After checking out, I headed to the distant Tropical Beach. Thank you for reading.
