[Travel Plan] Planning a Route for Hydrangea Blooming Season! (A Must-Visit in June and July) Grace Garden should be a centerpiece of your travel plans, especially between late June and mid-July when the hydrangeas are in full bloom. My partner and I planned a trip to Goseong to coincide with the hydrangea season, and the hydrangea fields here exceeded our expectations in both scale and color. To visit during the peak bloom, it is crucial to schedule your trip during this period. When planning, note that weekends during this time can be crowded, so we strongly recommend visiting early on a weekday morning if possible. The best route for the hydrangea season is as follows: After entering, walk through the Metasequoia path and take photos with the old stone church as a backdrop. Then, leisurely explore the hydrangea clusters spread out on both sides of the church. During the hot midday hours (11 AM to 2 PM), include a break in the shade of the Metasequoia path or inside the church to avoid exhaustion. Allocate at least two hours for the entire visit, including time for photography. Since this period is particularly popular, the parking lot can get crowded, so it’s wise to plan to arrive before 9:30 AM. Missing the hydrangea season can significantly diminish the garden’s charm, so be sure to check the blooming period and plan accordingly. This is the first step to a successful romantic getaway.
