A Ribbleside Ramble

The Ribble Way stretches all the way from the Yorkshire dales to the Fylde coast at Lytham St Anne’s. Obviously that can’t be tackled in a day, but one of the best routes can be found between the Great Mitton and Clitheroe. Along the way you can walk through fields often full with lambs in the spring and traverse through ancient woodland all whilst following the river meander. At the end of the you walk Great Mitton is the wonderful Apsinall Arms where you can grab a drink or a bite to eat, especially when you can sit outside on a sunny day watching the river flow beside you #hike #lancashire
