Snowy Salzburg at Christmas! 🎄

Even though Salzburg is beautiful in the summer, nowhere feels more festive than being in the snow in the mountains of Salzburg in the winter! We wrapped up warmly in so many layers and went out to explore. Recommendations: Spend a day walking around the old town, visiting the sites such as Mozart’s Birthplace, Mirabell Palace, Salzburg Cathedral, St Peter’s Abbey and Mozartplatz Square. We found Christmas markets covering the square, an ice rink, and some free exhibitions. The next day, take the gondola to the top of the Untersberg, for snow and fantastic views!🚡 It is cold up there so dress warmly, and wear shoes with plenty of grip as you’ll need to walk on the snow! ⛄️ ❄️🌨️ ##magicalxmastrip #holidayseason #austriatrip #europetrip #winterwonderland #travel #festivefun
