Ulleungdo, Main Character Energy

#summervacay Okay, so I finally made it out to Ulleungdo, why is no one screaming about this place?? It’s giving total main character vibes. The ferry ride over is a bit of a journey (prepare yourself lol), but once you’re there? Totally worth it. This island is unreal. Like, cliffs for days, the bluest water ever, and everything just feels untouched and peaceful in the best way. I did a bit of hiking (read: slow walking with snack breaks), and every corner had some “wait I need a photo” moment. The coastal road is literally made for cruising with music and zero stress. The food? Insane. I had fresh squid that was probably caught like an hour before I ate it. Plus, locals are super friendly, chill and welcoming without being all up in your space. If you’re even thinking about visiting Ulleungdo, just do it. It's the definition of “get away from it all” without actually being boring.
