We walked into Yue Fei Temple as a gentle rain began to fall, darkening the stone path and softening the world around us 🌧️🏯🌲. Statues of guardian lions stood silent by the gate, watching over a place built not for glory, but for memory. In the central hall, his figure stood tall and resolute, eyes fixed forward, hands steady, as if still ready to rise ⚔️🕯️📜. On either side, calligraphy and stone carvings told of honor, betrayal, and an unshakable spirit. Outside, by the tomb, the kneeling statues of Qin Hui and his conspirators bowed eternally in shame. Visitors moved slowly, some leaving flowers, others in silent reflection.
