Feilai Peak ⛰️

We approached Feilai Peak as the forest grew quiet around us, the air cool and damp with the scent of moss and stone 🌲🪨🌫️. Jagged limestone towers rose suddenly from the earth, as if the mountain itself had taken a breath and frozen mid-motion. Along the cliffside, hundreds of ancient Buddha carvings emerged from the rock serene, weathered, and eternal. Some smiled gently behind veils of ivy, others sat deep in shadowed alcoves, their features softened by centuries of wind and rain. The stream below murmured softly as we walked the stone path, passing monks in saffron robes and visitors who paused to bow or simply gaze in silence 🧘♂️🕯️🍃. Feilai Peak didn’t shout for awe it invited reverence. It felt like a sacred meeting point between earth and spirit, where nature and devotion carved themselves into the same quiet breath.
