A shrine inside the bamboo forest ⛩️🕋

#2024wish Dint put this shrine into my itinerary before visiting Arashiyama but thanks I found this beautiful place in the trip!! Function: - Unmarried imperial prince in the ancient time will visit the place and stay for more than a year to purify themselves before taking up their responsibilities or duties. Location: - Walking along the Arashiyama bamboo forest with the crowd, you will be able to see the shrine right inside. Operating hour: - 9 am to 5 pm Based on the local people, this is a shrine for women as they believe that making a wish here will help a woman to find their true love, get a child and have a safe child birth.
