Independence Palace (Dinh Độc Lập)

Independence Palace (Dinh Độc Lập), also known as Reunification Palace, is a historic site in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. It was the presidential residence of South Vietnam during the Vietnam War and is renowned for its pivotal role in the fall of Saigon on April 30, 1975, when a North Vietnamese tank broke through its gates, symbolizing the end of the war.
