Kang Hoi An Restaurant + Chill in an old building in the middle of the city

#DaNangTravel That day, we stopped for lunch at Kang Hoi An — a restaurant housed in a 200-year-old building in Hoi An's Old Town. It used to be a Chinese merchant's house before being converted into a hotel and later a restaurant. What immediately drew us in was the warm, beautifully hung rows of lamps inside the restaurant, along with the building's traditional architecture — iron and wood, old windows, vents, and doorways — every corner was perfect for a relaxing photo op. We ordered the "Shrimp Bread," which featured prominent shrimp pieces, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The cocktails were well-balanced and not overly sweet, making them refreshing. We also ordered a Vietnamese beer — a light, easy-drinking beer that complemented the cool atmosphere. We wandered around the restaurant and realized that the building used to be a hotel before being converted into a restaurant. The decor was beautifully harmonious, blending classic and modern elements perfectly. The wooden corners, the lamps, the wooden pillars, and the steel beams all made us want to keep taking photos. Overall, it was a wonderful experience — delicious food, and a beautiful atmosphere. Enjoy a relaxing stroll and take some fun photos.
