Art Culture in Hong Kong

The Art Lane in Hong Kong is one the best place to see the art culture of the city. It is located right at Exit B3 of Sai Ying Pun. Once you exit the station you’ll be greeted with walls and walls of art! From cartoonish cats and chickens, to some abstract stuff on the entrances of restaurants. Fun fact is that it is both local and international artists that decorated the walls of Art Lane! So you’re not just seeing the local culture but art pieces of global talent! What I really enjoyed most about Art Lane is how the art murals were integrated with the location. In other art streets i’ve visited most of the art were confined to the walls. However, over here it stretches over to the pipes, the playground, the concrete shelter over some store fronts, air conditioning ledges and they even top it all off with some lighting decorations by places like the staircases. Perfect place to just enjoy street art and if you’re into it a photoshoot! Definitely come mid day though as Art Lane is between buildings so it doesn’t get much light in the morning or evening. #hongkong #tripblazers #urbanexplorer #passionpassport
