If you are interested in a bit of temple hunting and off the beaten path type adventures then be sure to go back over to Lantau Island and only a walks worth away from the Buddha are the dedicated temples. We we’re told that we were not allowed to take pictures inside of the temples because it would be dishonorable however we were definitely surprised with the amount of gold we saw inside the temples not only because of the designs of the figurines of the Buddhas but also because of the amount of the figurines was plentiful.
