Iceland｜A girl’s solo winter road trip with safe stops

Before going, I was worried about safety on the road alone, but overall the road conditions were very good. Yesterday the windshield wiper broke, and in rain and snow I couldn’t see anything, which was a bit scary, so I ended up not going to the Golden Circle. But I still drove safely to my destinations! I visited Seljalandsfoss, Skógafoss, Fence of Bras, Vik, the Black Sand Beach, the Red Church, Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon, and Diamond Beach. I joined Glacier Adventure’s six-hour glacier hike, ate two volcanic specialty black dishes in Vik, and stayed at a hotel by the glacier lagoon and a cabin near the waterfall. I captured the Northern Lights three nights in a row, no regrets at all. I’ll be posting some travel tips later, feel free to ask questions!
