Breathtaking Yellow Mountains

They say the Yellow Mountains (Huangshan) are some of the most beautiful mountain ranges in the world, and I must agree. I took a train from Beijing and stayed a night in the town at the base of the mountains to prepare for the hike up the next morning. Although there are lifts to carry you up part way, I chose to hike on foot, which took about 3 hours. I stayed at a hotel for a night at the top to view the sunrise, and the unforgettable, breathtaking views were worth it in spite of the sore muscles and lack of sleep. #chinatravel #anhui #huangshan
