Huangshan (Part 2) | Pines and Rocks

On a clear sunny day at Huangshan, I didn’t quite know how to take photos—maybe because it lacked the embellishment of clouds and mist. I didn’t want to over-edit, so I just posted casually, but I was still amazed by the strange pines and bizarre rocks. However, I was so tired that I didn’t take out my camera in many places. This trip’s Huangshan route: Yuping Cableway - Laodaokou up and down Tiandu Peak - Aoyu Peak - Bright Summit (day 1) Bright Summit - West Sea Grand Canyon clockwise loop - West Sea - Shixin Peak - Bai’e Cableway (day 2) Tiandu Peak was too crowded to really enjoy; it was just pure climbing up and down (I threw my backpack at Laodaokou and went up and down empty-handed). I went to the West Sea Grand Canyon early in the morning after watching the sunrise. There were few people and beautiful scenery. In the canyon, I encountered monkeys and many strange rock formations and peaks. It was definitely worth it, but hiking the whole way meant going down Huangshan and then climbing back up, which was really exhausting (felt like a punishment for taking the cableway).
