The Sacred Hall of Prayers and Offerings [Ise Grand Shrine Kaguraden]

Before visiting the main hall of Ise Grand Shrine's Inner Shrine, take a moment to explore the nearby Kaguraden. This solemn building is a place where many worshippers perform prayers and offer "Mikagura" (sacred dances), and it is one of the spaces where I felt the deepest reverence during my visit to Ise. Kaguraden is a wooden structure with a copper roof, exuding a calm and serene atmosphere. It offers various prayer services, including blessings for business prosperity, traffic safety, and health. Worshippers can also dedicate traditional music and dance performances, known as "Kagura," to Amaterasu Omikami.
