The sound of stepping on snow is delightful on Hallasan Mountain.

Currently, climbing Hallasan requires prior reservation. In summer, it's best to ascend from Gwaneumsa Temple, while in winter, starting from Seongpanak is more convenient. You can take the first flight from Seoul in the morning and climb to the summit of Hallasan and return on the same day. Although I don't hike much these days, I remember it took about 6 hours to climb up and down Hallasan. In winter, it was a place where the sound of stepping on snow felt heartwarming.
