So when you come to Jilin City, don't miss this place! 🦆 When you come to Changbai Island, you must do these things‼️ 1️⃣ Listen to the touching story behind Changbai Island ✔️ The overwintering waterfowl were first discovered in 1983, and at that time, there weren't many. Since 1996, Ren Jianguo, a bird protector in the river city, began to voluntarily guard these birds. He has been stationed on Changbai Island for 26 years, silently protecting the waterfowl. At present, there are more than 20 species of waterfowl overwintering on Changbai Island, with a peak of over ten thousand individuals. Last winter, Ren Jianguo fell ill at the protection station, and afterwards, his niece took over the bird protection work, continuing to silently guard these overwintering waterfowl. 2️⃣ Take photos of the waterfowl taking off ✔️ Every so often, the waterfowl will take off in large numbers, which is really beautiful!
