Summer Vacation Cool Escape Off-the-Beaten-Path Tour｜Must-Visit Water Fun and Accommodation Guide for Summer

Not a fan of crowded popular spots, just want to chill in a cool place during summer. This time I came to southern Anhui and stayed at Xuan'an Resort Hotel in Moon Bay Scenic Area. I was already excited when making the plan, but the place is even more beautiful in person. 📍Xuancheng Jing County · Xuan'an Resort Hotel (Moon Bay section of the southern Anhui Sichuan-Tibet route) - A small courtyard with white walls and black tiles amidst green mountains and clear water, very comfortable to look at, full of Jiangnan charm. The courtyard is very clean, with a Sishui Gui Tang in the center and a big ginkgo tree. All 25 rooms have small courtyards, and the floor-to-ceiling windows allow you to see the mountain view from inside. Equipped with smart toilets and floor heating, you can soak in the bathtub while watching the starry sky outside, so cozy. - The public areas are rich, including swimming pools, restaurants, kitchens, and a cinema, plus a coffee shop. There are two swimming pools, where you can paddleboard. The infinity pool is great for photos, and one pool is divided into deep and shallow areas. The cliff restaurant is really on a cliff! Sitting in front of the large floor-to-ceiling windows for breakfast, the view is stunning! We also brought our own ingredients to cook in the shared kitchen, a bit hectic but the food turned out great! In front of the hotel is Tingxi River, where we went to wade in the afternoon, sitting in the middle of the stream playing poker and having afternoon tea. - Nearby Attractions and Activities List ⭐ Nearby rafting spots are very close: aerial rafting, kayak rafting, bamboo raft rafting, just navigate directly. There is also a popular waterfall café worth checking out. ⭐ For those traveling the Sichuan-Tibet route, you can follow the route: Taohuatan - Chaji Ancient Town - Moon Bay - Ink Tingxi, all with great scenery. Moon Bay Fish Scale Dam is a must-visit, where you can wade, swim, and even drive across the dam. Ink Tingxi features streams and bamboo groves along the trails, plus rafting and paragliding. - -
