Staycation Around Chengdu｜2-Day Family Trip (Lazy Guide)

Finally arranged the "first winter soak" this weekend! It's just a 1-hour drive from South Gate, and the whole family is happy. Here's my lazy guide to share with you all. ♨️ Hot Springs This place has natural Yunyin hot springs! The water temperature is just right, and it’s not cold at all in winter. Grandparents and kids can all enjoy soaking. After warming up, head to the free sauna room to sweat it out—it's incredibly comfortable! 🏠 Accommodation We booked a two-bedroom villa for our big family. The villa has a private courtyard and two private hot spring pools. At night, the adults can soak by themselves and enjoy some drinks. It’s a two-story villa, with each bedroom having its own bathroom, so no disturbances and great privacy. 👶 Kid Activities (Key Point!) This place is definitely a "power-draining" paradise! There are so many activities that you can’t finish them all: · Bamboo Rafting: Paddle on the lake with the kids, super fun. · Bike Rental: The hotel has great greenery, cycling around is very pleasant. · Kids Club: Highly recommended! Parents who want to relax can leave their kids here under supervision while they play games. We finally got to enjoy a peaceful afternoon tea! 🍲 Food The hotel’s Chinese restaurant hot pot is a must-try! On chilly days, having lamb soup hot pot or hot spring fish hot pot warms you up completely. The taste is good, and the price is reasonable for a hotel. There’s not much to eat around, so dining at the hotel is the most convenient. ❤️ Some Tips · There’s a camping base next to the hotel, great to visit if the weather is nice. · There’s also a water play club nearby, which we didn’t visit this time, saved for next time. · This is a perfect one-stop weekend relaxation destination, especially for families like ours. Kids have plenty to do, and adults can truly rest. We’ve already planned to come back next snowy day!
