The scenery of Jiuzhaigou is like a fairytale

Visiting Jiuzhaigou for the first time, I had some anticipation beforehand because the photos on various platforms looked stunning. When we arrived at the destination, the weather was excellent that day. We were informed that there are usually around 30,000 visitors daily, which made us quite worried since we were traveling with children and elderly family members with mobility issues. We feared it might be difficult for them to enjoy the trip. Fortunately, there was a friendly access route, but the staff seemed unfamiliar with it, and we had to figure out the entrance by trial and error. When waiting for the shuttle to the scenic spots, the staff showed no special consideration for the elderly. We had to compete with other visitors, including those cutting in line, to secure seats. This situation persisted throughout the visit. As for the scenery, the natural landscape is well-preserved and truly beautiful. However, the behavior of some visitors was disappointing. Some were feeding wild animals with peanut shells, while others were damaging trees, which I believe reflects a lack of proper management. Regarding accessibility, as mentioned earlier, the facilities are not very friendly to elderly visitors. There are no special pathways or measures, such as equipment to assist wheelchair users. Therefore, I would not recommend visiting Jiuzhaigou with elderly family members who have mobility issues.
