"Kaohsiung" is a difficult topic to write about

1️⃣ Gangshan Skywalk The skywalk is an 88-meter-long, 40-meter-high steel cable-stayed bridge. The bridge deck is paved with several pieces of reinforced glass, allowing you to overlook the beautiful view of Agongdian Reservoir from the bridge. 🕐 Opening hours: 9:00 am–5:00 pm (closed on Mondays) 2️⃣ Cijin Island - Cijin Lighthouse Cijin Island is located at the southwest end of Kaohsiung Port. It is a small island full of fishing village charm. The most famous Cijin Lighthouse is the oldest lighthouse in Kaohsiung, offering views of Kaohsiung Port and Cijin Coast. 3️⃣ Love River Gondola Take a boat ride along the Love River, listen to the captain hum a song, sip a cocktail, and enjoy the beauty of the harbor city at night from a different perspective. 🕐 Opening hours: 4:30 pm–11:30 pm 4️⃣ Qishan Old Street Qishan Old Street is full of delicious food. We recommend the Shaoxing wine fried rice and banana cake. After eating and drinking, you can also visit Qishan Tianhou Temple. 🚎 Transportation: Get off at Zuoying HSR Station, transfer to the Kaohsiung Bus "Qishan Express Bus" and get off at Qishan Bus Station, then walk for 5 minutes. 5️⃣ Former British Consulate at Takao Construction began in 1876, designed and supervised by the British Ministry of Works. It was the first official British consulate in Taiwan. Here you can overlook the beautiful view of Kaohsiung Port and learn about the history and culture of Kaohsiung. 🚎 Transportation: Take the Kaohsiung MRT to Hamasen Station, exit from Exit 2, take Bus Orange 1 or City Bus 99 to Xiongzhen North Gate Station or Sizihwan Station, or walk along Shaochuan Street to Lianhai Road. 6️⃣ National Sun Yat-sen University The campus is adjacent to Sizihwan, with beautiful scenery and a quiet environment. Strolling around the campus, you can feel the academic atmosphere and the seaside scenery, making it a great place to relax. 🚎 Transportation: Take the Kaohsiung MRT to Hamasen Station, exit from Exit 2, transfer to Bus Orange 1, and get off at the Administration Building of Sun Yat-sen University. 7️⃣ Sizihwan Scenic Area Located in Gushan District, Kaohsiung City, it is an excellent place to watch the sunset. The golden beach, blue sea, and natural reefs are beautiful at sunset. 🚎 Transportation: Take the Kaohsiung MRT to Sizihwan Station, then transfer to Kaohsiung City Bus 99 and get off at the Bathing Beach Station. 8️⃣ Dome of Light Located at Formosa Boulevard Station of the Kaohsiung MRT, it is the largest single public art installation in a station in the world. The colorful glass art is a great background for photos.
