After visiting the Echizen Great Buddha, we stopped for lunch and souvenirs at the Dinosaur Valley Katsuyama Roadside Station. 🦖🍱 We highly recommend it for its wide selection of local cuisine and shopping! The roadside station is dotted with unique shops that people of all ages can enjoy. 👇 crepe Mokka (crepes) lunch picnic KINO (hamburger steak, burger, and pork cutlet bowl with sauce) + Hitomame (homemade soy milk) Berika (strawberry soft serve ice cream) The strawberry soft serve we enjoyed outside was also delicious. 🍓🍦 A takeout homemade soy milk drink was the perfect accompaniment for a drive. ◎ After that, we explored some of the Pokémon manholes scattered throughout Fukui Prefecture! The manhole at Awara Onsen Station was particularly hard to find, making it feel like a little treasure hunt. 🎯 The search itself was so much fun, and it became a memorable part of our trip. ♪ Finally, we took a break at a cafe. 📍eX cafe Yoshizaki Phoenix Hall: 1-901-1 Yoshizaki, Awara City, Fukui Prefecture Enjoy the beautiful scenery and relaxing atmosphere as you end your trip. ☕️
