Kobe Maiko: A Half-Day Surprise (and Regret!) by the Sea! 🌊🍣

#summervacay Make sure you set aside at least half a day for Kobe Maiko – trust me on this one! Getting there was a breeze; a direct Hanshin train from Umeda had me there in just about 45 minutes. It was hands down the best decision of my Kansai trip (though I do regret only giving Kobe one day, it truly wasn't enough!). Maiko Supermarket: Curing My Donki Obsession The Maiko Supermarket literally cured my "Donki (Don Quijote) obsession!" It's such a tidy and clean supermarket. The sushi here is exceptionally delicious, especially the fish sushi – highly recommend it! You can grab some to go and eat it by the seaside with a beer. It was pure bliss! Ahhhhhh (I was in such a good mood!). Just a word of caution though: watch out for the seagulls and pigeons... they're quite opportunistic! Maiko: A Seaside Gem Worth Deeper Exploration Overall, Kobe Maiko left a deep impression on me. It's more than just a sightseeing spot; it's a place that genuinely lifts your spirits. Even though I only had half a day there this time, I truly felt its charm. Kobe, a place where you'll want to turn and walk towards the sea.
