Review of a getaway trip: Koh Si Chang, 2 days 1 night 🪼

It’s just a little over an hour’s drive from Bangkok, followed by a speedboat ride provided by Novotel at Koh Loi Pier, Sriracha. The convenience and luxury were top-notch! The boat ride took only about 15–20 minutes to reach the island—no waiting for scheduled ferries and no crowded spaces 🛥️💨. Accommodation: Novotel Koh Si Chang From the moment I arrived, I was impressed. The staff were incredibly welcoming. The hotel is situated on a small hill, offering panoramic views. The rooms are spacious, clean, and come with a private balcony to enjoy the sunset 🌅. • The swimming pool is fantastic, especially for relaxing in the evening. • Breakfast includes international options and fresh seafood. • Motorbike rentals are available for 500 THB per day. Activities on the island were delightful: ✅ Take photos at Asdang Bridge, especially in the evening when the lighting is perfect. ✅ Stroll around Phra Chudadhut Palace for a mix of historical vibes and sea views. ✅ Visit Chao Pho Khao Yai Shrine and enjoy the 360-degree viewpoint. ✅ End the day at Tham Khao Phang Beach, which is quiet, clear, and peaceful. Summary: This trip gets a 10/10 for its easy travel, excellent hotel service, serene island atmosphere, and the chance to truly relax without crowds. It’s one of the best nearby getaways where I genuinely felt refreshed 🐚🍃.
