As a traveler who loves surprises, I accidentally discovered this free "Pottery and Mineral Art Gallery" at Komatsu Station. It is hidden in a corner next to the station, but it made me stop and savor the artistic charm of the small town in Hokuriku. Not far from the platform, you can see the gallery surrounded by large glass windows, which displays local pottery works and mineral collections, from traditional painted pottery cups to smooth and mottled mineral specimens. The ingenuity of craftsmen and nature is intertwined here. A casual glance is the delicate glaze and natural texture, which makes people become a focused viewer. There is no entrance fee or reservation here, so I walked in leisurely and strolled for a long time. While walking and reading the introduction of the works, I also found that many of them were created by local craftsmen in Ishikawa Prefecture. Art does not have to be grand and vigorous.
