I loved walking through the traditional houses, watching live dances, and tasting local snacks-it felt like traveling across Yunnan in one day. The best time to visit is late morning until afternoon, so you can see the cultural shows. Try to stay until evening if you can, because the lights and lake view at sunset are beautiful.
