We can go anywhere without any plans. 🤔 4 days before, we booked a car, planning to drive back to Miyazaki again today to take a boat ride in the valley, according to the original plan, but postponed it because there was not enough time. "I wanted to go so much that I forgot to think about the rain that often came to visit." ☔️ And the rain really came today. It was so much that the park was closed, even though I wanted to go through the rain to take a boat ride. ..So the free day was changed to a country cafe outside of Fukuoka. We'll talk about it after that. 🚙 The car we got today was cuter than the previous 2 times. The beautiful colors really pleased me, making my disappointment of not going on a boat trip a bit better. Even Nong Fon has been with us since early morning. 🌧️ Driving out of Hakata into the countryside Mountains, rice fields, and rain of “Kurume” city I saw a house shaped like a kappa face standing out in the distance when I was nearing my destination. 🐸 “Kapateria cafe" is a super cute kappa cafe located in Tanushimaru Station in Kurume City. “A cafe decorated in the theme of kappa, a legendary spirit from Japan, but in a cute style, from the kappa face-shaped building and inside, everywhere you look, there are only kappa, even the food menu. 🍛 Curry rice and macarons with kappa faces according to the theme, so cute that I didn't dare to eat them, but they were also delicious.. They were all gone. I sat and ate, watching the train passing by, and the light rain in the morning like this, so chill. ☔️ We sat and chilled, taking pictures until almost noon, but Nong Fon still didn't go anywhere. The one I thought would be the temple on the mountain. It's time to move out and go back to Fukuoka again, but let's stop by the outlet in Saga City for some shopping. 🛍️ "Tosu Premium Outlets" is one of the largest outlets on Kyushu Island. I've been here for half a month, and today is the first day I've been able to go shopping seriously. ☔️ After shopping, getting soaked, eating rice, and killing time, I walked back to Fukuoka... oh man, there wasn't enough time on the first day to go sightseeing. 🏢 When it's raining nonstop like this, there's nothing better than going to a mall. If you come to Kyushu and don't come to this mall, it's like you didn't even come. 🇯🇵 Lalaport, Fukuoka's newest mall, has the largest Gundam statue in Japan standing coolly in front. "We're not Gundam fans, you know. But it's really cool, beautiful, sharp, like it can actually be used during a war.” 🤖 Taking pictures in the rain with world-class icons until the camera is about to break, then walking around the mall, buying my favorite red bean bread, it's time to return the car. 🥩 Walking back to Hakata Station, before going back to the room, having teppanyaki, one meal per person...sigh, “How could it not be delicious?” 🌙 It was a day that wasn't tiring, not exhausting, but soaked in the rain, which poured all day.
