The wooden stage is suspended on the mountainside. Standing on it and looking out, you can have a panoramic view of the entire Kyoto city, which is particularly spectacular when the maple leaves turn red in autumn or the cherry blossoms turn red in spring. I particularly like the process of walking up slowly from Sannenzaka. The old tea houses, Japanese confectionery shops, and ceramic art works along the stone road make people want to stop every few steps. Kiyomizu Temple itself is full of ancient aura. Whether it is the main hall, Otowa Waterfall or Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, each one is worth experiencing in detail.
