Le Puy-en-Velay

Le Puy-en-Velay is located in the south-central part of France, serving as the capital of the Haute-Loire department in the Auvergne region. It is a city in south-central France with a unique charm. The local rich cultural life, museums filled with extensive exhibits, and the tranquil countryside also attract many visitors. The most famous local attraction is the Le Puy Cathedral, whose history dates back to the first half of the 12th century and has long been a center of pilgrimage. The colorful corridors connect the remains of the 13th-century fortress, which separates the cathedral area from the rest of the city.
