Travel always brings some small but certain happiness, just like this inn. Having been to Lijiang several times and stayed in different styles of guesthouses, this one is a peaceful retreat amidst the hustle. With not many rooms, it's very quiet, and paired with the slow pace of life in Lijiang, I basically sleep until noon every day. Under the sunshine, people are busy in an orderly manner. Life is just like that, isn't everyone just passing through in someone else's life. At night, there's a gentle breeze, and in the courtyard, I brew a pot of tea and engage in idle chatter about everything under the sun. Perhaps this is what makes Lijiang so captivating...
