1 Day 1 Night at Lijiang Old Town 🏯✨

🏯 Lijiang Old Town 📍 Lijiang Old Town, Lijiang, Yunnan 🕝 March 2025 This place is very spacious. I arrived in the afternoon and strolled around the ancient waterwheel area, encountering shops and cute animals along the small alleys, with flowers all along the way. This post is a review of the atmosphere, views, and shops in the old town from my visit. 🐱 I happened to come across Little Fat Cat Café / 小肥猫咖. The cats were truly fat, with many of them nuzzling their bellies all day long. Cat lovers can relax here, with air conditioning and a cool breeze. (Entrance fee is approximately 130 baht, including drinks.) I continued my evening stroll around the town, as the lights began to turn on. The atmosphere changed, and people started to gather. 🥘 I had dinner at V. Sherry, a restaurant recommended by Thais. It was delicious and reasonably priced. (The food pictured was about 1,000 baht.) 🧝🏼 Dressing up in traditional costumes is a must. The lights are beautiful at night. (There are many shops to choose from, including costume rentals, makeup and hairstyling, and a photographer.) It's a shame we didn't go up to the top. It would have been beautiful. The old town is so vast, it wouldn't be enough to walk around in one day. 🏠 We stayed at Yijianju Garden Inn / 一见居花园美宿 (丽江古城店). It's a short walk from the main road. The room was clean and exactly as pictured. The road at the entrance might not be suitable for luggage, but there were people to help carry your bags and call a taxi. The staff were very attentive, and someone spoke English. We booked through Trip.com (this room cost about 1,400 baht, sleeps 4, and has two large beds). 💃 In the morning, there weren't many people, so it was quiet.
