Compared to Sanya, after visiting Lingshui, it feels more suitable for a family trip! I was clickbaited, it's suitable for family living! 🌵If you want to relax on vacation, or it's your first time in Hainan—head straight to Sanya! 🌵If you're taking kids to catch sea life, dig in the sand, and collect shells—go to Lingshui! 🌵If you're a couple wanting to experience the atmosphere of Hainan—go to Wanning! 1️⃣【Itinerary】I recommend 3-4 days, you can go to Sanya for the rest of the time, for reference: Day1: Boundary Island Day2: Qingshui Bay + Longtou Ridge Trail + Lighthouse Day3: Daidai Island + Sea Catching + Xincun Night Market Day4: R&F Ocean Happy World 2️⃣For a few days of travel, choose a hotel in Qingshui Bay, Lingshui's overall development is not as good as Sanya's, it's more like a small county town, with more homestays and fewer hotels. If you're staying long-term, choose a homestay, if it's just for a few days, choose a hotel. Qingshui Bay is convenient for food, accommodation, and travel, with high-end options like Raffles and Vapers, and Wyndham for those looking for economical options. 3️⃣Lingshui doesn't have an airport, to get there I recommend traveling from Sanya, a 40-minute drive from Haitang Bay, or take the high-speed train. Once in Lingshui, driving is the most convenient, or you can take a ride-hailing service, which is quick to respond but a bit pricey. 4️⃣The beaches in Lingshui are really fine and clean, especially Qingshui Bay, which is particularly fine, perfect for taking kids to play in the sand and catch sea life. Here are 4 beaches to visit: ① Agile section (📍Navigation: Agile Hainan Qingshui Bay Sales Center) ② Chiling section (📍Navigation: Chiling Gas Station) ③ Country Garden section (📍Navigation: Wyndham Hotel) ④ Aloha section (📍Navigation: Aloha) 5️⃣There aren't many places to catch sea life in Sanya, but Lingshui has plenty, and you don't need a guide, you can have a great time on your own! I've never seen so many starfish and shells! Recommended places to catch sea life: ① Lingzai Village (📍Navigation: Lingzai Village Committee, lots of starfish) ② Tufu Bay (📍Navigation: Haitang Huafu Sales Center, lots of shells) ③ Longtou Ridge (📍Navigation: Agile Sales Department, lots of shells) ④ Xincun Pier (📍Navigation: Monkey Island Tourist Pier, where you can feed monkeys) ⑤ Little Chiling (📍Navigation: Wyndham Hotel Sea View Passage, lots of shells) 6️⃣I don't recommend going to Monkey Island, there isn't much to do, and you can see monkeys at a zoo anyway, I think it's not worth the special trip. If you do go, take the cable car to the island for a beautiful view of the entire Xujia fish raft. 7️⃣Daidai Island is also very beautiful, more suitable for those who like to take photos, many photo shoots are done here because it's less crowded and there are many props for photography. Put it as a second plan, if you don't have time, you can skip it. 8️⃣Boundary Island is a must-visit, along with West Island and Wuzhizhou Island, they are among the more famous small islands in Hainan. There are many activities on the island, but they are a bit expensive. You can buy a package ticket for the tour bus + devil fish + ocean theater, which is a bit more cost-effective than buying separately. Go early in the morning and you can play all day, the water activities are slightly more expensive than Qingshui Bay. 9️⃣You can go to the Dragon Fruit Base to experience picking dragon fruit, especially for kids from the north who haven't seen it before, 20 per person, go in the evening, it's close to Qingshui Bay. 🔟Lingshui Night Market has several options, they're all pretty similar, the big one is Xincun Night Market, you can try grilled oysters, Qingbu Liang, sesame paste, colorful coconut milk Qingbu Liang is also good, Lingshui sour noodles, mango fried ice, salt and pepper pipi shrimp are all worth a try.
