LOBOC RIVER CRUISE & FLOATING RESTAURANT

The Loboc River Cruise in Loboc town is a significant highlight in our Bohol countryside tour. It usually comes inclusive of a generous buffet lunch served right on the raft. This floating restaurant also has singers and musicians onboard to serenade guests while we enjoy popular Filipino dishes. The river cruise starts from Loay Bridge near the Church of San Pedro. Midway through the 1-hour cruise, the raft stops in front of a large hut for a short performance by more singers and dancers dressed in traditional baro't saya. The raft moves along the river until it reaches a small portion of Busay Falls, from which it maneuvers for the return trip. The trip was very relaxing and can be more romantic if you are with your special love ones. #timetotravel

Sun-Kissed Adventures and Natural Wonders in the Visayas 🌴🌊 Ready for the ultimate getaway? Explore Bohol and beyond with sparkling beaches, dreamy caves, and unique wildlife encounters! Our all-time favorite? Bohol’s crystal-clear waters—absolutely irresistible. Kick things off at Alona Beach (Panglao, Bohol)—open all day, year round. Sunrise walks along powdery sand and crystal-clear shallows are non-negotiable! Grab a beachfront breakfast, rent snorkeling gear, or hop on a paddleboard for unbeatable ocean views. Insta-tip: shots near the Palm Tree swings or during golden hour are pure magic. Head next to Hinagdanan Cave (JRG2+496, Dauis). Open 08:00-16:00, this mystical underground spot is not only a cool escape from the heat but offers dramatic sunlight shafts through limestone chambers—perfect for silhouette selfies. Watch your step; it gets slippery inside! Nature lovers, don’t miss the Bohol Tarsier Conservation Area (Bilar, Bohol—08:00-17:00). It’s a peaceful jungle haven to spot these adorable, wide-eyed creatures. Rule of thumb: no loud noises or flash photography here! Respect their space for better viewing. Wind down at Bantug Lake Ranch (Granada Alangilan Road, Bacolod)—open 08:30-17:30 (weekdays), 08:30-18:00 (weekends). Go horseback riding, try fishing, or enjoy lazy lakeside picnics. Best photo ops: scenic boat rides and golden hour by the lake’s edge. Wrap your trip with Cebu’s vibrant city energy (8V8P+75F, Cebu City). Dive into bustling markets or take in sunset cityscapes before flying out. Personal tip: Bohol’s beaches are best for chill vibes and spontaneous dips—pack light, bring lots of reef-safe sunscreen, and dive in! 🌞 #Bohol #Philippines #BeachTrip #NatureLovers #TravelGuide#familytrip

Bilar Man-Made Forest

Just landed in Loboc, Bohol Island and went full-on explorer mode in this wild slice of the Philippines 🌿 Discovering misty forests, adorable tiny primates, and dreamy riverside breakfasts — you gotta see this place. Top Spots to Visit in Loboc 🌳 Bilar Man-Made Forest (M37H+M9X, Loay Interior Road, Bilar) Drive or bike through an epic two-kilometer tunnel of giant mahogany trees. Feels like a movie set, and it’s open all day — so go early for fewer selfie-stick squads and misty morning vibes. 🐒 Bohol Tarsier Conservation Area (Bilar, 6317 Bohol) Meet the legendary tarsiers (they're palm-sized with huge eyes, ultra photogenic). Open 8am–5pm, this place is serious about conservation — keep quiet, don’t poke the tarsiers, and bring cash for the cheap entry. 🌊 Loboc River Resort (6316, Camayaan Road Loboc) This is the vibe for chill riverside mornings — think pancakes, bacon, eggs, and tropical fruit as you watch monkeys scamper and rain clouds roll by. Rooms are spacious, breakfast rocks (included!), and the staff actually listens to your broken Tagalog. Pro tip: Ask them to book you a floating river tour and try their grilled seafood later. How to Get Around & More 🛵 Rent a scooter for a few hundred PHP — the easiest way to see forest, river, and town on your own. Resort can arrange local tours too. 🍴 Must-Eat: Resort breakfast is fresh and photogenic; dinner by the river, order the grilled squid or local adobo. 💸 Bring enough cash — some attractions are cash-only, and ATMs are rare. 🌦️ Weather flips quickly (sunny to rainy fast), so pack a poncho or light jacket. #BoholAdventure #LobocRiverResort #ManMadeForest #TarsierSpotting #PhilippinesTravel
