Here's a guide to a day trip to the Longji Rice Terraces in Guilin. If you only have one day to visit Longji, I recommend going to Dazhai in Jinkeng. 👉🏻Here, you'll find the largest rice terraces, which are layered like steps to the sky. There is also a cable car 🚠 to go up and down the mountain, which saves you time climbing and allows you to overlook the scenery of the rice terraces. ☀Morning: Guilin → Longji Rice Terraces → Huangluo Yao Village At around 9am, take a car from Guilin to the entrance of the Longji Rice Terraces Scenic Area. It takes about 2 hours on the national highway. After picking up your tickets, continue by car for 20 minutes to Huangluo Yao Village, and check in at the "World's First Village of Long Hair". You can have lunch here. 🌤Afternoon: Jinkeng Dazhai → Jinfo Peak Viewing Platform → Guilin From Huangluo Yao Village, it takes about 25 minutes by car to reach Jinkeng Dazhai. There are 2 ways to get up the mountain: 1️⃣Hiking 👩‍🦯: About 1.5 hours 2️⃣Cable car 🚠: CNY 55/person for a one-way trip, CNY 100/person for a round trip When you reach the Jinfo Peak Viewing Platform on the top of the mountain, the view of the rice terraces is amazing.
