Walt Disney Concert Hall

The Walt Disney Concert Hall is located on South Avenue in downtown Los Angeles, California, and was completed on October 23, 2003. It is a complex of buildings that develops outward from the concert hall and is surrounded by irregular wavy curved metal walls of different sizes. Its peculiar and irregular appearance has the strong characteristics of deconstructivist architecture (deformation, detachment, dislocation, disassembly), abstract architectural structure, metal exterior walls and metal sheet roof style, and sturdy building complex volume, making it an important landmark in Los Angeles and the headquarters of the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra and Chorus. For tourists, in addition to the building itself and classical music performances, they can also appreciate the special organ designed at the same time as the concert hall. There is also the "Blue Ribbon Garden" surrounding the top floor of the concert hall (open to the public on weekdays), "A Rose for Lilly" made by a ceramic artist using ceramic vases and tiles, and the curved walkway formed by the curved exterior wall of the concert hall.
